Dr.Patrick McRoberts
Dr. Patrick McRoberts (O.D.). Is a Therapeutic Optometrist active in the sub-specialized Optometric Management of Glaucoma/Dry Eye and who’s daily patient visitations are heavily Medical Optometry* orientated. He is the Optometric Director of the Harbourside [N.Vancouver] and Beach House [Sechelt] Optometry Clinics. Dr Patrick McRoberts is a 3rd Generation Optometrist. The Year 2011, was a milestone year signifying that 3 generations of McRoberts had and continue to provide uninterupted Eyecare to BC families for now 90+ years; in Vancouver, North and West Vancouver, Squamish , the Sunshine Coast and Powell River.Dr Patrick McRoberts graduated from The Illinois College of Optometry in 1986 and has practiced in British Columbia originally with his father and now in solo practice. His was married in Chicago to Mayma Lorez McRoberts a practicing Respiratory Therapist who is the Current Director of Clinical Operations. Dr. McRoberts’ real love is the diagnosis and management of Anterior Segment Disease; Laser Refractive Surgery Applications , Ocular Aesthetics and learning about the newest fields of Genetic modulation of Eye Disease : the Blood Flow Dynamics of Eye Disease and soon to be approved Laser Regulated releasing Anti -Veg implants injected to manage Juvenille Diabetic and Wet Macular Degenerative Eye Disease.He travels to conferences in both the US and Canada and spends hours on the internet reading excerpts on the latest Eye Disease Management Developments.He enjoys golfing, hiking and snowshoeing in his free time
